The world´s first articulated trolley bus with exclusive VIP facilities is about to leave the Viseon plant in Pilsting, Lower Bavaria. The articulated bus with real wood floor, leather covered ceiling and comfortable leather seats is part of an order from the King Saud University, Riyadh for twelve trolley buses of the type Viseon LT20. In future, the electrically operated trolley buses in up-to-date Viseon design will provide the newly-erected King Saud University, Riyadh with a locally emission-free and extremely quiet passenger transit system. In the record time of only 18 months, Viseon has carried out the entire project from the first model, to the prototype and the final assembly of the complete fleet. “VISON has not only demonstrated that it can innovate at tremendous speed with its new models and developments. The dispatch of the twelve trolley buses to Saudi Arabia right now, proves that we are also able to carry out demanding projects efficiently and to the full satisfaction of the customer.” explained Viseon managing director Joachim Reinmuth.
